Line and Shape
I took these photos at a park in Somerset as well as in my backyard. I chose to photograph buildings, fences, and wood. These photos focused on line and shape. Some vertical lines and horizontal lines.
I took these photos very close up.
For the first picture the angle was taken up, for the second, third, and fifth the angle is to the left. For the fourth picture the angle is to the right and for the last picture it was taken below.
Most of the photos were taken vertically.
I considered the rule of thirds in my second picture. The main focus of the photo is the the right of the photo and the end of the fence is all the way to the left where the lines of the rule of thirds would meet.
The third photo is dynamic and leads the viewers eye through the picture because the main point of the photo is in the right hand corner and the lines that the bricks make up lead the eye to the left of the image. The lines are white compared to the darker bricks.
