This photo portrays leading lines with the sidewalk, the lamp posts and the trees that make the eye follow them throughout the photo. Repetition in the lamp post and trees create a sense of uniformity. The fog also adds a sense of distance. There seems to be no end in this photograph. Converting this picture to black and white gave it a more mysterious feel and added more to the composition than leaving it in color. While taking this photo, I made sure that it had a large depth of field so everything would be in focus. The lighting was a little darker because it was cloudy and foggy but, it made the picture a little more interesting. To me, this photo has a mysterious mood because of the fog and the black and white.

This photo does have a lot of texture in both the leaves and the plant in the middle of the photo. Where the leaves are not touching, there is negative space that creates very interesting shapes. The rule of thirds is apparent in this photo because the plant is not directly in the center of the photo. This photo does have proper exposure and has a good contrast between the light parts in the leaves and the very dark spots in the negative space. There is some blur in the leaves on the edges and it makes the photo more interesting to look at. This photo demonstrates that everything is beautiful in its own way. To some, leaves and some weeds are not attractive but, this photo may prove that wrong. The point of view is very close to capture the most details.

This photo starts off with a lot of texture in the bricks. This makes it an interesting photo to look at because all the bricks are not uniform. The leading lines in the bricks lead the eyes from the beginning of the photo all the way to the end. These lines also create diagonals and triangles that can make a piece very interesting to look at. This photo has a small depth of field so, the right side of the photo is in focus but then it becomes blurry as it goes on. This photo does have proper exposure and there is a good contrast between the darker bricks and the lighter filling between the bricks. This photo represents that with time, things will get better. This shown by the cracked bricks that eventually get to become solid.

The negative space between the petals create very interesting shapes. There is repetition with the flowers but they are different sizes to make it interesting. There is a lot of texture at the center of the flowers because I took the photo very close up. This photo does have proper exposure. There is a nice contrast between the dark center of the flowers and the brighter parts of the petals. There is a large depth of field so everything is in focus. Because the point of view is very close, there are no distracting backgrounds to take away from the subject matter. This photo has a creates a very happy mood because the subject matter is sunflowers. Even though the photo is in black and white, it still create a happy feeling.

This photo represents rule of thirds because Joe is on the right side of the photo, not just in the center. The line on the pavement moves the viewers eye all the way through the photo. There is a sense of depth in this photo because it does have a foreground (Joe) and a background (trees in the back of the photo). The focus of this photo is Joe, he is the only thing in focus while everything behind him is blurred, showing motion. Keeping this photo in color gave it a more playful mood and allowed the foreground which is darker, stand out from the background which is very colorful. Joe being on a scooter with his leg in the air makes the photo very playful and fun.

The leading line on the trunk leads the eye up the trunk and to the leaves at the top of the photo. The negative space between the leaves and branches create very interesting shapes. There is a lot of texture in the trunk of the tree. There is light from the sun coming through the leaves because my point of view was looking up. This created softer colors in the leaves. There is a shallow depth of field, the trunk is in focus but the leaves do have blur. By pointing the camera upwards, it let light shine through the leaves which gave this photo a happy feeling
